Delivery orders in one queue, straight to the kitchen
We are planning a delivery hub for Wox: orders from Wolt, Glovo and Bolt arrive in one queue and go to the kitchen like any order taken at the table.
What it does
A busy kitchen with delivery often has a tablet for each app on the counter, each with its own sound. Someone reads the order off one screen and types it into the till so the kitchen can see it. Orders get missed, retyped wrong, or sent late.
The delivery hub is meant to put every delivery order in one place inside Wox POS. You accept the order once, it goes to the kitchen display with the rest of the tickets, and it takes stock off just like a dish sold at a table. Which services connect first, and on what terms, will depend on the services themselves; we will say which are connected before the hub opens.
Who it is for
Restaurants, cafés and dark kitchens that take a large share of their orders through delivery apps and run more than one tablet to do it.
What you get
- One queue
- Planned: Wolt, Glovo and Bolt orders together in one list.
- Straight to the kitchen
- Planned: accepted orders go to the kitchen display with the other tickets.
- Stock goes down
- Planned: delivery sales draw stock against the recipe like any sale.
- Delivery in your reports
- Planned: see delivery sales beside table and counter sales.
- Fewer tablets
- Planned: one screen instead of one tablet per delivery service.
