Card payments that land in your day close
Wox Pay is our planned card terminal: the guest taps a card, the payment is recorded against the check in Wox POS, and the totals match at the end of the day.
What it does
Today a card payment in most venues happens twice: once on the bank's terminal, and again when someone records it in the till. At day close, the two totals are compared by hand, and any difference has to be tracked down.
Wox Pay is meant to close that gap. The amount goes from the check in Wox POS to the terminal, the guest pays, and the result comes back to the check. The day close then shows card payments that already match what the terminal took. We will publish how settlement works, which cards are accepted and what it costs before Wox Pay opens.
Who it is for
Restaurants and bars that take most of their money by card and lose time each night reconciling the terminal with the till, especially with split checks and tips.

Can I take card payments with Wox POS today?
Yes, with your current bank terminal; the payment is recorded in Wox POS. Wox Pay is about connecting the terminal to the check so the amounts pass between them.
What will Wox Pay cost?
Fees are not set. We will publish them here before Wox Pay opens, and people on the waitlist will see them first.
Which banks will Wox Pay work with?
That is not announced yet. We will say which banks and cards are supported on this page before launch.
